Roxane: Tell us a bit about your background!
Eloïze: I’m 27 years old, and I’ve been in the floral industry for 10 years. It started as a part-time job during evenings and weekends when I was a student. I tried several school programs, but I always came back to my passion for flowers.
One day, I stopped searching and realized that being a florist could actually be my career! I’d been drawn to the entrepreneurial side of things for years, so I took the leap and opened my shop on May 1st, 2021. Definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
R: What do you find most challenging about being an entrepreneur?
E: At first, the biggest challenge was wearing all the hats. Now, I’m learning to delegate better. I’d also say staying motivated despite the ups and downs. You have to go back to basics and remember why you became an entrepreneur. That’s when it’s so important to be surrounded by positive people who lift you up!
R: What’s your current favorite floral arrangement?
E: I love monochromatic arrangements with lots of variation in height and texture!
R: How do you choose the products you sell in your shop?
E: It’s mainly personal favorites, but I also pay close attention to branding and the company’s values when selecting products! I love choosing items that work well together visually to ensure consistency and make the shop look beautiful.
R: What are you manifesting for Atelier Bota’s future?
E: Expansion!
R: And finally, we have to know: what’s your favorite Flambette fragrance?
E: It’s hard to choose between Mint + Rosemary and Raspberry + Vanilla.
Thank you so much for welcoming Flambette into Atelier Bota! We hope to continue collaborating for a long time, and here’s to the bright future of this beautiful project!
