Why Soy Wax?

Nine years ago (time flies!), we poured our very first soy candles on the stovetop of my cozy little apartment. Today, although our production has grown significantly and become much more efficient, we still use pure soy wax. But why stick with it?

Let me shed some light!

A Natural, Plant-Based Alternative

Soy wax comes from the soybean; a renewable, plant-based, and biodegradable resource. Unlike paraffin (a petroleum byproduct), soy wax is gentle on the environment. It's a greener, more respectful option that reflects our commitment to offering high-quality, eco-friendly products.

A Clean Burn, Without Black Smoke

You may have noticed that some candles release black smoke or leave behind soot. With soy wax, that’s no longer an issue! It burns cleanly, which is better for the air in your home (and for your lungs!).

A Longer Burn Time

Soy wax melts more slowly than paraffin, meaning your candle burns longer! On average, a soy wax candle burns about 30% to 50% longer than a paraffin candle of the same size. More time to enjoy it!

Better Scent Throw

Thanks to its creamy texture and lower melting point, soy wax releases fragrance in a softer, more consistent way. The result? A subtle, comforting atmosphere that never overwhelms, just what you want when you're relaxing or entertaining.

Easy to Clean

An added little bonus: if you spill some melted wax, it’s easy to clean with hot water and soap. No need to worry about stubborn stains! And cleaning out your containers to reuse or return is just as simple.

For all these reasons, soy wax will always be an obvious choice for us. For you and for our planet.
