From the union of our worlds comes a collection designed to evoke simple yet precious moments, those when we slow down, take a breath, and feel at home.
Roxane: Can you introduce yourself in a few words for someone discovering you for the first time?
Manon: Hi hi! My name is Manon, I’m a visual artist—but not only that. In a nutshell, I’m a former war law lawyer who eventually chose to give herself time and space to reconnect with herself; this led me to train in coaching and rediscover my creativity in 2020. Since 2025, I’ve chosen to make art and creativity the heart of my life. I believe that’s how I feel truly aligned and how I can contribute more beauty, softness, and joy to the world. I could also say that I’m an entrepreneur, highly sensitive and a dreamer, curious, passionate about human psychology, a lover of animals, a runner, and… a French girl who never went back home. :)

R: What inspires you the most in your daily life?
M: On a daily basis, almost anything can inspire me: a walk, a scent, the seasons, a photo, a word, a feeling. It’s very broad and open. Most of the time, my inspiration comes from within, almost like my paintings are abstract journals. My process is very free and intuitive—I leave a lot of room for exploration. I might pick up a flower petal and feel inspired to create something, or simply watch a summer evening sky and feel like experimenting with a new color palette.
R: What is your favorite color palette?
M: Ah, my palette! I think it’s pretty recognizable. I often gravitate toward pinks, yellows, and oranges, with a touch of aqua. That said, I don’t limit myself and I enjoy exploring other palettes too—adding lilac, brick orange, taupe, even red. I’ll admit I have a hard time with black and grey/brown tones (both in my art and in life). It’s just not me—I’m all about color, freshness, and softness! I also love mixing different mediums, so I often use acrylics, oil pastels, and colored pencils.

R: What made you want to create scented products with us?
M: What drew me to this collaboration was the opportunity to bring together a visual and an olfactory universe (what a gift!) to create a richer experience. I also loved the creative process itself, where scent plays such an important role, and of course the beauty and quality of your products. As a candle lover myself, I thought it would be so special to translate my world into a scent—and to give a scent a visual identity. As an artist, projects like this allow you to create something unique while also becoming part of people’s everyday lives and homes. If I can bring beauty through an incredible scent, that feels magical!
R: How did the creative process unfold on your end?
M: Ah, the process! It’s funny because we hesitated a lot, and in the end, we landed on two scent options. One inspired a whole series, even though in my heart I preferred the other… It was interesting because my favorite wasn’t the one I could naturally translate visually. In the end, I chose to fully immerse myself in the scent that inspired me most, and as I kept creating, different artworks emerged: ones that actually worked well with both scents. They both felt like spring, but one led me to the other. This process allowed me to create over 25 works on paper, which I later exhibited in Toronto. It just goes to show, you always have to trust the process!
R: What do you hope people will feel when discovering this collection?
M: I think we all need more softness, lightness, and joy in our hearts, especially with everything happening in the world. If through the scent and the visuals I can bring even a little bit of that into people’s daily lives and hearts, that would be wonderful.
R: After a busy week, what helps you unwind without fail?
M: I won’t be very original: a good comedy (romantic, I’ll admit, I’m a big romantic) or a great series always helps. It lets me completely switch off. Depending on my mood, running is also a real outlet, it helps calm my nervous system and grounds me physically. So the combo of a run + a movie, maybe with a homemade hot chocolate on the side, is definitely a winning formula!
R: And finally, my signature question: what is your favorite Flambette fragrance?
M: After smelling them all, I absolutely fell in love with the Raspberry + Vanilla fragrance: it’s soft, fruity, and delicious. Yum!
Thank you so much, Manon! We hope these fragrances find their way into your home, become part of your little rituals, and bring a touch of softness to your everyday life.
