My first week at Flambette

Jul 4, 2022

by Roxane Gagnon

It’s still a little hard to believe, but it’s true! I left Halifax after 10 years to come back to my hometown, Trois-Rivières.

Leaving a government job to go work for my bff’s small business might seem crazy to some, but I’ve never felt more confident in a decision. (And I’m a libra, so that says a lot!)

My first task was to package your orders. Tania showed me how to not go crazy with the bubble wrap while making sure your products safely make their way to you and without killing our planet!

I also poured my first candles!!! If your candles smell extra good lately, it’s probably because of me. Speaking of pouring candles, it's a lot more complicated than I thought. I will tell you more about it in my next article.

I am getting used to the workshop and having pink floors automatically brightens up my days. The various retailers who email us are SO KIND!

The pomelo&yuzu candle, exclusive to La boutique par Fanny, is UNREAL! I love smelling products that I hadn't discovered yet and I can't wait for you to discover the new collabs that are coming out soon.

It's definitely a big change and I have a lot on my plate, but I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and work hard! It's nice to know that my efforts are helping a fabulous small business that is full of love and smells like heaven. Feel free to send us messages on facebook or to slide in our DMs, we really like connecting with you guys!
