Retailer Spotlight: Les Sublimes

All you need is one conversation with Elsa and Annick to want to trust them with the care of your whole body and face. Warm and humble, the women behind Les Sublimes have what it takes to build customer loyalty.

Their care and advice live up to their reputation and it is an honor to find our products on their shelves. Located in Trois-Rivières, the clinic and its team of 9 young women offers a range of treatments to make you feel beautiful, inside and out.

Q: I read on your website that you used to work separately, where did you meet? 

A: Yes exactly, we were both self-employed, in esthetics. Elsa was a client of Annick and then over time, talking during each appointment, we realized that we had the same vision. One thing led to another, we created a strong bond and it was from this moment on that “Les Sublimes” was born.

Q: How did you decide to start your business?

A: We are both very ambitious and wanted to have our own business. We wanted to create an environment in our image, a peaceful space without judgement. We are both graduates in social work and special education, we had values ​​of humanism, openness and mutual aid that resonated strongly with us. We had the same "energy" and the same desire to build a company that reflected our personalities and that would allow us to transmit our values ​​through our customers. One fine morning, we saw a space for rent, we listened to our intuition and that's where we went head first and started "Les Sublimes". Our main goal is to make a difference in the lives of women!

Q: As entrepreneurs, what do you find the most difficult? And the most rewarding? 

A: Being an entrepreneur brings its fair share of challenges. Sometimes we have to quickly pivot because of unforeseen events that we may encounter. Our biggest challenge, in our opinion, is letting go. Having a business means putting all your heart, all your energy and your love into it, so it is sometimes difficult to let go of problems that may arise. We opened Les Sublimes with great naivety and no entrepreneurial experience. We evolve every day and we have to learn to trust each other even if sometimes certain events make us doubt ourselves. We believe that what is most rewarding is to see the path traveled and the evolution that it has allowed us to make, both personally and professionally. Through Les Sublimes, we are proud of the progress we have made, but above all of the positive influence we can have on the women we meet daily.

Q: Is there a product that you can't live without? 

A: It's so hard to choose one single favorite product since all the products we have have been carefully chosen according to our preferences! But here are our musts:

Q: What makes you feel sublime?

A: We believe that accepting our differences, in combination with choosing ourselves on a daily basis, and making sure to take time for our physical and mental well-being, leads directly to feeling sublime!

Q: Do you have a wellness ritual? 

A: Several elements allow us to take care of our mental and physical well-being. A good morning/evening skincare routine is part of our ritual. In addition, we are constantly looking to evolve, which is why we love to read books and listen to podcasts about personal development. Outdoor activities such as mountain biking, cross-country skiing and paddle boarding also greatly help maintain a balance. That is the gist of our wellness recipe! 

Q: What inspires you everyday? 

A: Recognition, mutual aid, openness, non-judgment, respect... these are all the concepts that inspire us on a daily basis. We truly believe in the law of attraction. We aspire to apply it as often as possible in all spheres of our lives.
