Kinda like a “commercial housewarming”. Last Saturday, we did it!
With the sun shining and the thermometer indicating thirty degrees, it could only be a wonderful day. Because we wanted to share this moment with as many people as possible, we invited some of our local small businesses pals to join us!
To satisfy the hungry bellies, Le Marché Notre-Dame offered hot dogs and pulled-pork sandwiches on the BBQ as well as a variety of snacks and refreshing beverages. Have you ever tasted their bread pudding? To die for. Honestly, it's worth taking a detour downtown just to pick up a portion. Just saying
To accompany these delights and the sun beating down on our happy faces, what could be better than a little summer drink? The Wabasso Distillery, our neighborhood friend, was there to introduce their latest addition (and your next obsession); the WhisKeyLime . A ready-to-drink cocktail that tastes like lime pie, summer, sunshine and i-need-one-more.
If you've seen pictures of our office, you probably already know about our love for plants! To our delight, Rosette and Ombelle also joined us to offer plants, macramé, bouquets of flowers and floral arrangements! Just beautiful! You should follow their instagram accounts to see their news and creations!
As for us, we had accumulated quite a few imperfect candles in recent years (crooked, incomplete, slightly stained wicks, etc.). As we refused to throw them out, we put them up for sale for very small prices! To our great surprise (and happiness!), our perfect imperfects all found takers, in record time!
In addition, I would like to thank everyone who came to see us, adopt one (or more!) of our imperfect ones, and have a bite to eat with us! It's definitely an event we're going to do again, so if you didn't have the chance to participate, we’ll see you next time :)
